Ben - DBS Project worker
I have been working for Parchment Trust for almost 6 years. I had never had any experience of care work before starting but quickly went on training courses and received hands on learning.
The staff team are great, and the opportunity to work for Parchment Trust has been awesome. On a daily basis I usually work 1-1, supporting a service user to access the community, and helping with any physical or personal needs. This could be accessing the gym, attending tennis or football, or going for a walk along Hastings seafront or at Bewl Water – where this photo was taken.
